Courtyard by Marriott Atlantic City Beach Block

Got a room for an over night trip. Check in was quick and easy. Customer service was excellent. Front desk waved my parking fee. Rooms were clean. Rooms amenities were functional and working. Bathroom and shower was clean and worked properly.

We stayed here for one night over the weekend, for a basketball tournament and the room was cleaner than the majority of hotels we visited that are prices higher. I took one star off because the pillows had stains. Thankfully, we travel with our own. Not fond of the area, it seems as if you took a wrong turn. Loved the view of the ocean. When we arrived, our room was not ready as the air conditioner in several rooms were not operating. We were put in a room is a king versus double beds. No other hotels were available, so we made it work. The manager (I did not get her name) was amazing. She made the best of the situation for us and handled it in ways we did not expect and she deserves so much credit for her leadership. The breakfast was great. The sandwiches were worth the price and much better than we expected.

16OCT.2025 My first time here and it was nice. The wonderful lady at the front desk made us feel so welcomed and she was very kind. We received a snack bag with 2 bottles of water, single serve Planters trail mix,and Townhouse fig newtons. I stayed here on the day of my birthday & it was lovey. The view of the Jersey shore, the boardwalk, some of the casinos. The view was simply gorgeous. The room was super spacious and comfortable for me and my mate. Jacuzzi bathtub, kitchenette, flat screen tv’s(living area & bdrm)spacious shower(with handheld shower head & wall mounted), sink near the bedroom with mirror and sink with mirror on the other side of the bathroom next to the toilet . The bed was so comfortable..not hard nor too soft. Ample seating throughout. Great views from the living area and the bedroom. Closet space was ample. Easy to operate thermostat. Mini fridge and microwave. Our floor was super quiet the best part of our stay.

The team was great, although their bistro was closed and I was not notified. Rooms were spacious and clean but did have a smoke smell that attached to my clothes. It was a good location, short walk to the beach.

Nice sized room with an Iron, microwave and fridge, those aren't amenities that I take for granted anymore. Definitely going to stay there again, a little confusion checking in but with multiple people and multiple room that's kind of expected. Everything else was good to go.

Great high-rise Marriott option couple blocks off the coast in Atlantic City. There was a promotion for free breakfast with my stay but the breakfast was not good. Rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, with a great view of the ocean. Great location for its price, just a tad bit over $100. Ran into a huge issue during stay - the hot water was not working. Water temperature was not fixed during our stay so it was very convenient but otherwise, a good stay.

We recently stayed at the Courtyard Atlantic City NJ, a 3-star hotel that offered a decent room for 4 adults, thanks to the queen-sized beds. Upon arrival, we received towels and 2 bottles of water, which was a nice touch. However, the housekeeping staff's limited English proficiency made it challenging to get fresh towels, despite multiple requests. The hotel's location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the beach and boardwalk, which was a highlight of our stay. Be prepared for crowds on Fridays and Saturdays. Parking is available nearby for $10 per day. Overall, it's a solid option for a short stay.

I'm genuinely surprised by the negative reviews for this place, since they don't match our experience at all. One of our party had a medical emergency while we were checking out of our previous hotel, requiring us to extend our trip by a week while he was in the hospital recovering. The Courtyard was more than accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay day by day. Since we were there in the December slow season, it was quiet as a mouse and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The front desk staff was sympathetic to our situation, and on multiple occasions asked how our friend was doing. The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff kept the beds made and towels stocked without us having to ask. Parking is available in their lot for $20/day, but we saved a few bucks by using the Resorts garage just around the corner. We never ended up needing our car, as most of downtown AC is in walking distance and the jitney & multiple NJT buses are in close proximity. The bistro wasn't open during our stay, but Perry's, across the street, is an outstanding breakfast spot that we went to almost every day. There's an assortment of snacks/drinks/travel necessities available 24/7 by the front desk. If you want to be centrally located but still have a quiet stay, and if you don't want to walk through a casino for 20 minutes to get to your room, the Courtyard is a solid, budget-friendly option.
